Creating a Token Lock

This guide walks you through creating a token lock on BonkLocker.

Prerequisites

• A Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.)

• The tokens you wish to lock

• 0.05 SOL for the lock creation fee

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Select Lock Type

1. Navigate to BonkLocker and connect your wallet

2. Click on "Create Lock"

3. Choose between "Cliff Vesting" or "Linear Vesting"

Step 2: Select Token

Choose the token you want to lock from the dropdown menu or search for it.

Step 3: Set Amount

Enter the amount of tokens you wish to lock.

Step 4: Configure Lock Settings

For Cliff Vesting:

• Select the unlock date

For Linear Vesting:

• Set the cliff period (optional)

• Set the vesting duration

• Set the vesting start date

Step 5: Review and Confirm

1. Review all lock details

2. Confirm the 0.05 SOL fee

3. Click "Create Lock"

4. Approve the transaction in your wallet

After Creating a Lock

Once your lock is created:

1. You'll receive a confirmation message

2. Your lock will be visible in the "Claim Tokens" section

3. You can share your lock details using the unique lock URL

4. Your lock will be publicly viewable on the Explore page

Important Notes

• Lock Immutability: Once created, lock parameters cannot be changed

• Fee Structure: The 0.05 SOL fee is a one-time payment

• Claiming Tokens: Tokens can be claimed once unlocked according to the schedule
